General Questions

ELV is a fancy term for a vehicle that’s too old or damaged to be used anymore and needs to be scrapped and recycled.

Absolutely! GVWM Recycling accepts cars in any condition, even if they’re falling apart or missing parts.

Yes, you can expect a fair and good price, based on the condition of your vehicle.

It depends. If your car’s registration is still active, insurance is needed. If the car isn’t running, insurance isn’t required, but you’ll need to tow it.

Payment is made right after you agree to sell, either before pickup or as soon as the car reaches the recycling facility.

Scrapping your old car helps you avoid legal trouble and gets you the best value before it becomes a bigger problem.

It’s safer to sell your car to an authorized place like GVWM  to ensure it’s properly taken care of.

They carefully take it apart, recycle all the useful parts, and crush the rest in an eco-friendly way.

No, GVWM will come to pick it up from your location.

Legal & Compliance

You’ll get an Assurance Certificate from GVWM Recycling, which shows that ownership has been officially transferred to them.

You’ll need to clear any fines before your car can be scrapped.

Usually, no. But sometimes, depending on where your car was registered, you might need to visit the office.

It’s proof that your car has been scrapped and that you’re no longer responsible for it. It also protects you from any future issues related to the car.

If you don’t scrap it, you could face legal trouble, and your car might be used illegally. Plus, it could cause pollution and take up unnecessary space.
